This project will require students to propose a potential new usage for an existing old historical building. It will require students to investigate and observe the practices and approaches on architecture conservation in Malaysia. Students may use their previous ‘measured drawings’ exercise as their building for this project and propose the most suitable new usage for the building by taking into consideration the site context, surrounding culture, building defects and any form of architectural detailing on that particular chosen building.
